SHP Construction & Civil carried out the external painting of various buildings to match the new colour scheme along with general sitewide repairs. The repairs included replacing damaged drainpipes, replacing existing louvres with solid windows and Crimsafe screens, removal of a brick wall and relocation of existing tap, removal of rainwater tank and surrounding flora, removal of tiles around drink fountain and installation of splashback, removal and replacement of rotten timber and damaged shade cloth in covered area, replacement of external flood lighting and removal of obsolete services and wiring, and any other repairs or treatments required in preparation for painting. SHP also replaced 25 timber posts with structural steel posts and completed works associated with replacing air conditioners including relocating the condenser units from wall brackets to within steel cages on concrete pads as per DoE Specifications.
