SHP Construction & Civil carried out the refurbishment of the JCU Study Hub in Building 039 which involved the complete internal demolition including relocation and reinstallation of existing furniture. The refurbishment involved battening, sheeting and setting of all block / concrete walls, and supply and installation of new glazing, ceiling tiles including insulation, carpet tiles including all necessary ramping and preparation work, white boards and a writeable glass wall, along with new lights, GPO, data outlets and data rack. SHP also completed external works including supply and installation of new cladding to external block wall and concrete feature render to Study Hub entrance portal, supply and installation of stormwater channel drain and new stormwater pit connecting to existing pit at rear of building, and landscaping.
