SHP Construction & Civil carried out a complete SIE upgrade to E Block at Rasmussen State School, including removal of existing fixtures and structural elements and replacing them with new ones aligning with the current DoE Standards. This project was delayed due to the discovery of Asbestos which was subsequently removed prior to the upgrades commencing. Some features involved in the upgrade included installation of new art sink, new stainless steel PWD pre-plumbed refrigerated drinking trough, and bag racks – bolted into concrete slab to prevent vandalism. SHP also supplied and installed new concrete slabs and double carport awning structures to provide shaded areas for the existing aluminium seats and table settings.
