SHP Construction & Civil carried out the supply and installation of all materials for the construction of a new concrete walkway connecting the existing carpark to the pedestrian foot bridge at the JCU Vet Science Building. Some features involved in the walkway construction included pedestrian crossings, new wheel stops in the parking bays, relocation of various signs, and installation of new light poles. SHP’s ISO accredited management systems provide procedures and processes to ensure that any specific requirements by the client can be easily incorporated, and in this project, there were some particular environmental conditions implemented due to the project’s proximity to the JCU turtle rehabilitation area.
